Lost the east end of our ridge in a January wind night. They photographed the whole thing with the direction marked before touching it, which the adjuster ended up leaning on. Repair, not a replacement, and they said so up front.

Called about hail after a door knocker told us we had it. They ran test squares on all four slopes, showed us the gutter faces were untouched, and said it was not hail. Then fixed the two boots that were actually leaking.

Three bids and theirs was the only one that wrote down the nail count and where starter strip was going. Waited until July to do the tear-off because they said a winter install would not seal. Roof went through the next east wind fine.

Screw-down metal on the shop was weeping at half the fasteners. They re-torqued and replaced the windward run rather than selling me a coating, and told me which year to expect the rest to need doing.
